The Hawx Ultra 95 S is Atomic’s low volume fit for the intermediate to advanced skier looking for downhill performance. This boot has proven itself year after year with high quality materials, technology, and a snug fit for a narrow heel. Because of this, the Hawx Ultra 95 S remains mostly unchanged for the 2025 season.
Why we like it:
Atomic does not skimp out on the high-end tech for the Ultra 95 S. Almost every feature you get with the Ultra 95 S is the same as their top of the line Ultra 115 S.
Who it's for:
This boot will match up perfect for intermediate to advanced skiers with low profile feet. The Memory Fit technology from Atomic means there are lots of options for shell customization, opening the boot to feet slightly larger than the stated last.
Highlights:
There are a lot of things to love about the Hawx Ultra 95 S. Memory Fit shell tech combined with a Mimic Gold liner means accommodating bumpy and bony feet is a breeze for a good boot fitter. The dual sided cuff alignment is the best way to match the boot cuff to the skier’s leg. Something that is a little more unique to Atomic is an adjustable forward lean bolt on the spine of the boot which brings dorsiflexion of the foot into play, allowing for a more upright or forward stance.
Things to consider:
While the Hawx Ultra 95 S is a great boot for skiing all over the mountain, it is not the most aggressive boot out there. Advanced and higher skiers, plus taller or heavier skiers will find they can easily overpower this boot.
Fit & sizing considerations:
Compared to other boots in the low volume category, we’ve found the Hawx Ultra 95 S will fit slightly shorter in the toe and is snug to average over the instep. Where the fit shines is the heel pocket, with a true low volume heel that makes the skier feel grounded and in control while laying out big turns or bouncing around in the bumps.
